Time and Location
The event is scheduled this Saturday (7/15) from 3:00pm until dark (around 9:00pm) at the large shelter in Veterans Park (8531 Forest Road, Cincinnati, OH 45255). A map of the location can be found here. The weather looks like it will be great, and the event will continue rain or shine. The general plan is to have food, drinks (Thanks to Kenny Paulin!), and lawn games along with some other activities to celebrate our 10 years as a program.

Schedule
There will be finger food available initially, and dinner (catered sandwiches, salads, etc.) will be served shortly after 5:00pm. We'd like to get all group pictures taken right before dinner is served, and then we'll have a few short speeches to share after everyone has gotten their dinner. The cornhole tournament will start before dinner with pool play and then bracket play after dinner. More details on that below. If you can't make it all afternoon/evening, that's fine. We just hope that you can join us when you can!

 Cornhole Tournament
Thanks to everyone that has signed up to play cornhole already. If there is anyone else that would like to join in, please complete the Google form by Friday afternoon so that we can put the schedule together. Eddie has coordinated medals for the champions, so that will be on the line. We'll try to get pool play games completed before dinner based on availability of teams, and then we'll work through the bracket play after dinner. We'll clarify rules on Saturday.
Cornhole Tournament Champions: John Siemer and Nick Wetzel

Steamboat Pictures
The plan is to have a projector at the Park on Saturday and we'd like to have old Steamboat pictures scrolling throughout the day (Thanks to Austin Winner!). To help us, you can add any pictures that you have from the years to the Google Drive folder here. If you know what year the picture is from, please add it to the corresponding folder (2008, 2009, etc.). Otherwise, you can just add it to the "Unknown" folder. Thanks for your help and can't wait to see your pictures!

Money Collection
To help cover the cost of the food, drinks, and venue, we'd like to ask everyone to please contribute $20 per adult (no cost for the kids). The good thing is that now you don't need to worry about bringing anything else. Everything will be taken care of and you can just enjoy the company.

We will also be organizing a split-the-pot to help fund things. $2 for one ticket or $5 for 3 tickets. You can buy as many tickets as you want, and half of the collection will go to the lucky winner drawn on Saturday (you do not have to be present at the time of the drawing to win).

If you would like to make any further donation, that is completely optional. If there is any overage, it will be given back to the team to help with the 2017 season. Any money can be sent via PayPal to ryanmgorman@gmail.com (just please add a note to the payment to explain who it covers, how many tickets you want for split-the-pot, etc.) or you can bring cash on Saturday. Thanks for your understanding and participation!

Other Information
Pets are allowed at the park, but they must be on a leash and supervised at all times. We're also glad to have some next-generation Boaters joining us. For the kids, there will be food and drink options, a playground, plenty of green space to run around, lawn games, and of course, discs to throw. Not to mention, they'll be surrounded by defacto baby-sitters that can help keep them entertained. If the parents in the group need us to consider anything else for the kids, just let us know. Finally, we recommend bringing lawn chairs if you have them. There will be plenty of seating under the shelter, but if you want a place to sit during the lawn games or anywhere else, a movable chair would help.
